There is a lot of parking spots in the city center, both in the streets and also in parking garages. Free parking in the public sones on Sundays, Saturdays after 3pm and after 8pm in weekdays. Download and pay with the SmartPark app.

Motorhome Camping

Trondheim municipality’s year-round motorhome facility is located in the old working class district of Svartlamon, close to the city center. With 80 motorhome parking spaces, 32 power stations, a dump station and water withdrawals, it is a good starting point for city-hungry travelers. A very short walk away is the Spielplatz “Marine”, a nice well-managed playground with benches perfect for the little ones. Motorhome reservation is not possible, first come first served. Payment can be made at a pay station at site, SmartPark or Easypark.

Note! The space is for motorhomes only. Caravans, combi-camps, tents etc. need to go to other campsites outside the city.
