The newly renovated Trondheim Spektrum is Europe’s largest multi-purpose arena. The 33,200 sqm arena contains all that you need from a modern event space. Trondheim Spektrum is the perfect venue for concerts, sporting events, conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions.
Trondheim Spektrum consists of several halls connected by a bright and open mingle area. The arena also has a conference center consisting of 18 modern and fully equipped meeting rooms from 14 -186 sqm, in addition to a large and beautiful conference hall of 400 sqm. These are perfect venues for everything from small meetings with a handful of participants, to large banquets for several thousand participants.
The largest hall of 4,800 sqm has a maximum capacity of 12,000 spectators. Completely overhauled in 2019, Trondheim Spektrum has already hosted large events like the European Men’s Handball Championship 2020, the Norwegian Eurovision Song Contest finale, arena concerts such as John Mayer and a-ha, as well as big productions like Grease.
The world’s largest trade fair for aquaculture technology, Aqua Nor, is held at Trondheim Spektrum bi-yearly. The fair gathers between 20,000 and 28,000 visitors from 70 nations. Scale and flexibility make Trondheim Spektrum a perfect venue for national and international fairs and exhibitions of all sizes.
Location
Trondheim Spektrum is located in beautiful and scenic surroundings, right across the Nidelven river from the Ila neighbourhood. With its central location, Trondheim Spektrum is easily accessible, either a short walk from the city center, or by public transportation.
