Mix Curiosity and Creativity

The center offers fun and informative exhibits for both young and old to enjoy. Through hands-on experiences in our main exhibition, you’ll learn about themes like anatomy, electricity, physics and mechanics, hydropower, geology and much more. The Science Center also features a fantastic makerspace with a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, Micro Bits, littleBits and much more to boost your creativity.

During weekends and school holidays we have a varied program, and we also organize science clubs, birthday parties and other events.

Want to extend the fun? We also have a science store with exciting experiments and toys. Trondheim Science Store is open all days of the week, and you can drop by without a ticket to the center.

Being a guest at Trondheim Science Center is a great way to spend time with the family, and hopefully everyone will learn something new!

The planetarium at Trondheim Science Center opened in August 2017 and is Norways’s first 3D planetarium, a premiere resource for inspiring the next generation of space explorers. The planetarium will take you on an unforgettable journey to the universe with spectacular full dome shows.

The venue is being used for both film screenings, conferences and educational purposes. Entrance to the planetarium is included in the admission fee. Screenings are usually in Norwegian and only during weekends and holidays.
