“This little oasis of culinary glee, located dead center in the charming city of Trondheim, has a very ‘now’ feel to it, without pledging alliance to any particular food- or wine trend. The dining room is spread over two floors, with simple furniture, striking modern artworks and gastronomy books by famous contemporaries. There is a communal table by the bar for drop-ins, and hip hop in the loudspeakers, on a warm summer’s day, however, it’s more pleasant to sit on the outdoor terrace.”

Spontan is a wine bar without rules, but uses the best of Trøndelag in terms of local produce. Small and medium-sized dishes give you the opportunity to taste the menu – everything depends on your appetite, if you want the whole experience you can order a 4 or 6-course menu. The wine list is dynamic, and represents both the classic and the natural. Spontan has table reservation, but you can also stop by. Good atmosphere, good people and a nice place to hang out in the evening.
