Korsvika

The Beach along Lade Trail

Korsvika is a popular beach along the Lade Trail on the Lade peninsula. The area comprises of several small inlets with a sandy beach and coastal rocks. This is a family-friendly area with large grassy area for playing and sunbathing, a children’s play area, picnic tables, benches and fire places.

There is also a toilet and disability-friendly toilet (open during weekends in the winter and until 22.00 on weekdays in summer).

Directions

There is a car park nearby, while Korsvika may also be reached by bus or on foot.

Bus no. 2 or 20 takes 15 min. from the city center, check atb.no

If you want to walk from the city center, go in the direction of Solsiden, Nyhavna and then to Lade Church. From the church you go in the direction of the fjord and you are in Korsvika! It takes approx. 50 min.
