Visit a Fish Farm
The tour starts with an exhibition about fish farming in the terminal at Sandstad. The exhibition is part of the Coastal Museum and provides an insight into the modern Norwegian aquaculture industry that lies along the Trøndelag coast, and puts it in a local, national and international perspective. Additionally, you will be taken out on a rib boat to one of the archipelago’s many fish farms. Together, this provides a unique experience with both lessons learned and experience in fish farming.
On the way back to the terminal you will stop at the Terningen lighthouse, established in 1833. The lighthouse consists of a twelve meter high tower in concrete and is located in beautiful surroundings. If you’re lucky, you might pass a large ship or cruise while enjoying a delicious salmon lunch before the journey continues back to the terminal at Sandstad.
